I had a sign up sheet go around today for specific items such as: 1 box of microwave popcorn, 2-3 boxes of "movie" candy, a 6-pack of soda, Christmas ornaments, and $10-$40 towards a gift certificate for a turkey/ham. The church will provide the movie: "Facing the Giants." 3.  52 Houses of Prayer in 2011. Please ask your LifeGroup members if they would be willing to be a host home for 52 Houses of Prayer.  There are sign-up cards in your LifeGroup folder.

Queen bed, bunk bed, electric stove, refrigerator, table for 6 and living room furniture.

The paperwork in Indianapolis is complete, he is just waiting for Tarrant County, paperwork is tougher. Please pray the process to go smoothly, so this can happen for him.

August 29th Announcements

Thanks again to Sam for leading us in another great lesson today on Acts 17. We hope everyone left life group wanting to go into the world and "Live Expectantly" everyday. Class was followed up by another great sermon from Rev. Curtis Jones. The church has sermons available online through podcasts on www.hafbc.com.

This week Sam challenged all of us to look at the list of email addresses these announcements went to and pick one name from our life group to pray for all week long. At the end of the week send the person you chose an email to let them know that you prayed for them this week. Hopefully we can all make this practice an everyday occurrence. We ought to alway be interceding in prayer for others.

August 22nd Announcements

Welcome Back Sunday! We have to say the day was a blessing to us and our entire family. Class was wonderful. We had 22 in attendance and everyone enjoyed a sweet time of fellowship while sharing breakfast and then Sam led the class in a lesson on Acts 16. Great job Sam and thank you to everyone that took part in class discussion.

We have begun the new church year and we are really excited about what this year holds for HAFBC and for our life group. Remember that the life group will be whatever we make of it together. On Sunday we all spoke and mentioned that we'd like our life group to provide friendship, accountability, encouragement, fellowship and spiritual growth in the God's word. How awesome will it be when we see all of these are met and surpassed? Join us!
