September 13th Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. NEW Lifegroup Bible Study for WOMEN ONLY will begin on September 23rd. Receive a flier in class and sign up today! This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your walk with Christ and build friendships with the women in our class. The first study is only four weeks long and titled The Darkest Hours: Seeking God in Desperation. We’ll study the stories of Samson, Hannah, Ruth and Hezekiah. We will meet every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8 p.m. at HAFBC. Childcare will be provided downstairs. The study will be facilitated by Jenna and Sabrina. The cost of the book is $5. Questions? Contact Jenna and/or Sabrina at jnhc99@yahoo.com or sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net .

2. September 23rd and every Wednesday after, while the women are in bible study upstairs, the men will meet in the foyer or the church and go visit all the new couples who visit our class on Sundays or express an interest in our class through the church’s visitor cards.

3. Prayer time with the Pastor Search Committee, this Sunday at 5 in the Student Building. There are no "big" announcements at this event but there is a great opportunity for us to encourage our Committee by praying over them. Your presence and prayers would bless everyone.

4. The Newcomers' Class, September 27, 5:30 - 7:15 p.m. in the Student Building.

5. Humble to Humble Missions Saturday, October 3, 8:30 to noon. This is a special mission day for our whole church, driven by our LifeGroups. We will meet at the church for breakfast at 8:30 and then everyone will have an opportunity to go to specific service projects all over the Humble area. It is a really feel good day that does impact many great folks in our community with the love of Jesus.

6. Christos books are the basis for our study in lifegroup each week and they are available in the library for $5.
