1.NEW Lifegroup Bible Study for WOMEN ONLY will begin on September 23rd, 6:30 - 8 p.m. (this Wednesday). The first study is only four weeks long and titled The Darkest Hours: Seeking God in Desperation. Food is welcomed but not required for this week. Childcare will be provided downstairs. 2. September 23rd and every Wednesday after, while the women are in bible study upstairs, the men will meet in the foyer or the church and go visit all the new couples who visit our class on Sundays or express an interest in our class through the church’s visitor cards.
**Side note: We are unaware if the visitations begin this week so the guys will meet outside our LifeGroup classroom. If there is no visitations they will go out to eat or find some other "manly" activity.**
3. The Newcomers' Class, September 27, 5:30 - 7:15 p.m. in the Student Building.
4. Humble to Humble Missions Saturday, October 3, 8:30 to noon. This is a special mission day for our whole church, driven by our LifeGroups. We will meet at the church for breakfast at 8:30 and then everyone will have an opportunity to go to specific service projects all over the Humble area. It is a really feel good day that does impact many great folks in our community with the love of Jesus.
5. Girl's Night Out, September 28, 7 - 9 p.m. Ladies are going to the Mudpie Company to paint some pottery!! If you did not receive an evite please email Sabrina at: sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net.
PRAYER REQUESTS
1. Continue to pray for those who are traveling.
2. Alot of sickness seems to be going around right now so pray for healing.
3. Derek seems to be "falling apart" so please pray for healing in whatever is causing him pain.
4. Paul's co-worker's daughter who was in a coma from a wreck a few weeks ago is beginning to make progress and heal. Praise God! Please continue to pray for the Kallmeyer family as she recovers completely.
