April 5th Announcements

Yesterday was full of great discussion in class. It was our first week in our new bible study format and we appreciate everyone's input as we "circled up" and dove into the study of Jesus calming the storm in Mark. For those of you out yesterday, we missed each of you and hope to see you back in TWO weeks! Remember, lifegroups are cancelled this Sunday due to the special Easter Services.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• April 8th - GUYS' NIGHT this WEDNESDAY NIGHT at the Lake Houston YMCA for a friendly game of basketball. RSVP to derek.boomer@hatchmott.com
• April 8th - Mom2Mom meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the worship center. RSVP to Jenna at jnhc99@yahoo.com if you plan to attend.
• April 12th - Easter Sunday there will be two services offered one at 9 a.m. and the second at 11 a.m. No lifegroups will meet.
• April 12th - the preschool department is in serious need of teachers on Easter Sunday as lots of their regular teachers will be out of town. If you are willing to help out in a children's class on Easter Sunday, please call the church at 281-446-8168 and ask for Cathy Lane.
• April 17th - CLASS SOCIAL!!! Be on the look out for the Evite soon.
• April 25th -Saturday, Local Missions Project. More info to be given out soon via email.
• May 1 & 2 - MARRIAGE CONFERENCE AT HAFBC!!! God's Blueprints for Marriage. Enrollment forms were handed out in class yesterday. If you plan to attend you need to email Jenna at jnhc99@yahoo.com. Thanks to the couples who have already signed up...we're hoping to have a big group present at this awesome event. Chris & Lydia Lewis are leading it and say that if you already have a good marriage, this will make it great. If you have a struggling marriage...this will save it. The cost is $50 per couple and covers the literature, breakfast and lunch on Saturday. There are scholarships available if you are not able to afford the $50 fee. Please let Jenna know if you plan to attend.
