!!!!!LOCAL MISSIONS PROJECT!!!!!

2nd Annual School Supplies Drive for the local Sudanese children of Houston.

Last year we were able to bless the local Sudanese children with a generous donation of school supplies to prepare them for the new school year. This year there is a need again and we've have volunteered to meet that need. Please bring your school supply donations to class each Sunday until August 16th. THE FINAL SUNDAY TO DONATE WILL BE AUGUST 16TH.

Tessa has been compiling lists of the all the best deals on school supplies at local stores. I'll be passing that information on as it becomes available. If you have any questions, please let me know! jnhc99@yahoo.com

Thanks for your servant hearts!

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Please pray for Crystal as she is battling morning sickness.

2. Please pray for Tessa's nephew Kendall as he continues to recover from the burns on his feet and legs.

3. Please pray for the Paul & Sabrina as they travel this month.

4. Please pray for Nicole B's. grandmother who is in ICU with pneumonia on a respirator, a punctured lung, and a broken rib. In short, she recently fell and broke a rib thereby causing the punctured lung which apparently, left untreated, caused the pneumonia. Please pray that God gives her strength to fight the illness, peace to calm her fears, and for my parents' journey as they rush to Illinois to be by her side.

GNO! Game night

Hey Ladies! So much fun was had by all at Sabrina's house last week for game night. I loved all the yummy food, although it wasn't too good for my diet. ;0) Hey, diets aren't invited to GNO! It was fantastic to have Nicole, Jessica and Elvira attend for the first time. We shared a lot of laughs and got to know everyone even better. Looking fwd to Aug GNO at Jenna's house!

Here's a pic of the group, sans Jenna...the photographer.
