July 26th Announcements

Hello Lifegroup Members! Class went real well yesterday. Special thanks to our teacher, Paul, for preparing a great lesson on Prayer. For those of you who couldn't make it, some of the scripture from class was Matt 6:1-15; John 15:4; John 14:12-14; James 1:13; Psalm 66:18; Psalm 139:23,24; 1 Tim 2:1,2 Ask yourself this question, "Is my prayer life my steering wheel or my spare tire?"

Welcome to Eric & Elvira! So glad y'all could visit our lifegroup today. Thanks for taking part in the class discussion and we hope that you enjoyed the lesson and fellowship. We really hope to see you back next week.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Ladies Night – July 29th at 7 p.m. – Game Night at Sabrina Stark’s house.

2. Fit-4-LifeGroup Annual Training Event, Sunday, August 16. All class leaders are expected to attend! This year all adult LifeGroup leaders and others in our class who are interested in leadership, are invited to a 2 hour workout (training event) from 4 to 6 p.m. in the worship center. At the end of your workout your LifeGroup will be in better shape, with more muscle and stamina. It is going to be a fun and challenging evening that will include a "fit" meal and drinks. Just for the fun of it, we are asking everyone to wear your workout clothes! Sign-up is a must so please begin your sign-up as soon as the sheet is available in your LifeGroup folder.

3. Welcome Back Sunday, August 23. Last year Welcome Back Sunday resulted in our highest LifeGroup attendance in the history of our church. Make plans NOW to make it another high-spirited moment for our church.4. She Celebrates and ManChurch, Sunday,

4. August 30, 5:30-7:15 p.m. Man Church & She Celebrates! Women go to one room to worship their way and men go to another room to worship the way they want. Both worship events have proven themselves to be a great time of fellowship and worship. A light stand-up meal will be provided at 5:30 and at 6 worship begins. Don't miss it. Childcare will be provided.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Please pray for Crystal's sister-in-law (Kim Boomer) flew to West Virginia this weekend because her 19 yr old brother (Jimmy) was killed in a car wreck. The funeral is tomorrow (the 28th) and she is the only christian in her family so please pray that the Lord will comfort her through this and give her the right words if family members come to her about the Lord.

2. Please pray for Crystal's brother is having a MRI done today to find out if he has a tumor on his pituitary gland. We won't know the results until next week of so.

3. Please pray for Sabrina's aunt Roxy has been diagnosed with cancer.

4. Please pray for Laurie's mom is recovering from surgery.

5. Please pray for Tessa's nephew, Kendall, suffered 2nd degree burns on his feet and legs a week ago. He still has bandages, but he is healing. He has to have his bandages redone every other day.

6. Please pray for Dustin's company as they make some cut-backs.
