2. THIS FRIDAY, 3/4, is our lifegroup March social! Laura will be sending out all the details this week. If you plan to attend and you need a free babysitter at the church then you MUST sign up for childcare today. You can call the church and ask for Becky Sandoval. 281-446-8168.
3. Sunday, March 13th, our church will have a worship minister here in view of a call. He will lead worship in both services and then the membership will vote immediately after each service. Please be praying for this man, his wife and kids, and our church to have godly discernment.
4. Saturday, March 19th, is a MAN-Date. The guys are all invited to play in a dog-fight golf tournament at Kingwood Country Club with Dustin. The cost is $20 each. The tournament begins at 2:30 p.m. Email Dustin if you want to play at dchilders@newtecheng.com.
5. There are TWO opportunities to nourish and renew your marriage at HAFBC this spring. We hope you will attend one or both!
- March 2 - April 13, The Art Of Marriage video series will be offered each Wed night from 6:30-8 p.m. in room 2204. It will be led by Brandon and Natalie Reed. You can sign up in class each week or just show up this Wednesday night for their first video session.
- March 25 - Mini Marriage Retreat led by Chris & Lydia Lewis from 7-10 p.m. Cost is $20 per couple. Register at www.hafbc.com
6. The HAFBC Adoption Ministry is hosting a free seminar on March 4th at 7 p.m. You can reach the church for more details at 281-446-8168.
7. We had shepherd groups in our life group in the past and they proved to be very helpful in accomplishing the purpose of discipleship within our group and we feel the Lord telling us to bring them back. We are asking you to pray about volunteering to be Shepherd Group Leaders (made up of a husband and wife team) in our life group. Dustin will be sending out an email shortly which details the responsibility and purpose of a shepherd group/leader. Any questions can be sent to Dustin at dchilders@newtecheng.com

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Sam may be in California for another 4-6 weeks. Please keep praying for him and his family.
2. Praise! Jenna's dad did not have any infection from his colon in his abdomen. He will be having surgery in the next few months once the inflammation has subsided.
3. Matt's mom is having her gallbladder removed soon.
4. Laura's students are taking the TAKS test this week and they need prayers to focus and use the tools that have been taught to them. Also, please pray for all of the teachers.
5. Laura's sister is due on March 1st with her second child and is ready for delivery.
6. Please keep praying for Nicole's mother and Nicole's entire family.
