April 18th Announcements

Class went great yesterday. Thanks to Jared for teaching the lesson. We studied Acts 9:1-16 and had really good involvement and discussion. It's spring time and we're all coming out into the sunshine and our calendars are getting full. Please remember to place lifegroup and church on your priority list and take part in as many of our ministries and events as you can.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. THIS SATURDAY, 4/24, many members of our lifegroup are coming together in a local missions effort. We are all walking/running the AID SUDAN 5K. You can register and get more info at www.houstonsfirst.org/aidsudan. Dustin and Jenna, Paul and Sabrina, Derek and Crystal, Ginger and Sam and Drew and Yajaira are already registered and hopefully more of you will sign up! Come on...it's only 3.2 miles!!! Even if you don't want to run the race, come cheer everyone else on as the cross the finish line.

2. SOCIAL!!!! THIS SUNDAY, 4/25, from 4:45-8 p.m. is our lifegroup social for April. Tessa is putting together a real fun event based on the TV gameshow, "Minute To Win It". We'll be competing in a variety of crazy events. The church changed things up on us and offered us free childcare on a Sunday instead of a Friday, so free childcare IS PROVIDED! You have to email Jenna at jnhc99@yahoo.com to let her know if you need childcare TODAY.

3. GNO! April 26th at 7 p.m. All the ladies are meeting at The Mud Pie Co in Kingwood for a hi-ho good time painting pottery! RSVP to sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net.

4. HAFBC is hosting Missions Sunday on May 2nd. Please plan to be in class and service to learn more about the international missions efforts of our lifegroup and our church.

5. Men's monthly meeting is Wed., May 5th at 6:30 p.m. in the student bldg. Led by Stuart Henslee.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1. Pray for safe travel for all our friends in the lifegroup.
