November 8, 2009 Announcements

Class was packed this morning! It was great to see everyone and to meet all of our new visitors this week. Thanks to Paul for bringing the lesson and to everyone that took part in class. Here are the announcements and prayer requests from lifegroup today. Enjoy your week and see you all soon!

CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. GUYS NIGHT is November 12th at 7 p.m. All the men come hangout play some poker and watch some football. RSVP to Derek at Derek.boomer@hatchmott.com

2. Annual Angel Tree, Sunday, November 15: Yes you will again have the opportunity to bless children in our area whose parent or parents are incarcerated, as well as children who are blessed through our food pantry. Our tree will be full of names and following each worship service you will have the opportunity to take a name of a child. Don't miss this special blessing.

3. LifeGroup Meeting, Sunday, November 15, 4 to 5:30 in the Worship Center: Members of all lifegroups are invited to join the leaders of your class for our last leadership meeting this year. It is important that you be present. We will be discussing many items that will directly impact our class for 2010.

4. Girlfriends by Grace Prayer Meeting is this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in room 2209. We’ll be starting our next bible study, Calm My Anxious Heart by Linda Dillow, the first Wednesday in December. It is a 12 week study and you can find the book online or at a local Christian bookstore.

5. GNO! November 16th at 7 p.m. Join all your girlfriends for a potluck and recipe exchange at Sabrina’s house! Be sure to pick your favorite recipe for a side dish, appetizer or dessert. Sabrina will be making the entrĂ©e, her lasagna! RSVP to Sabrina at Sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net.

6. The church wants to prepare 175 bags of Thanksgiving food to give our clients the first 3 Tuesdays of November. The church asks us to bring some of the following and leave at either entrance of the HAFBC building
Boxed/Bagged Stuffing
Broth
Gravy Mix
Cranberry Sauce
Instant Potatoes
Canned Sweet Potatoes
Canned Fruits/Vegetables
Dessert Items

7. Christmas Mission Project - Angel Tree Party: Our annual party to distribute your gift to children is scheduled for Saturday, December 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event requires many volunteers so please watch for opportunities to sign-up and be blessed

5. Tommy's co-worker, Geraldo, has a three year old child that was just diagnosed with leukemia.
