February 22nd Announcements

Fantastic class yesterday! Thanks Paul - for bringing such a good lesson on the baptism of Jesus and thanks to everyone else for the good class discussion and participation. We have a few things happening this week, so read the annoucements below and be sure to pray over each prayer request.

CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Ladies lunch this Tuesday, Jan 20th at 11:30 a.m. at Panera Bread in Atascocita. RSVP to sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net.

2. GNO! (Girls' Night Out) is this Wednesday night, Feb 25th, at 7 p.m. It's GAME NIGHT! Bring your favorite game and a snack to share. RSVP to sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net and let her know if you did not receive the Evite.

3. LIFEGROUP DINNER OUT is this Friday night, FEb 27th, at 7 p.m. Meet at McAlister's Deli in Atascocita. RSVP to tessagreenfield@yahoo.com.

4. Lifegroup Coordinator Meeting is March 4th at 6:30 p.m. in room 2208. Our coordinators need to sign up in class on the sign-up sheet located at the back of the room.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. The Williams family is expecting their son Logan in four short weeks! Also, praise that Emma's surgery to place tubes in her ears went well!

2. PRAISE! Nicole Brian's surgery to remove her left thyroid also went well and she is recovering at home. Absolutely no sign of cancer!

3. Boomers are traveling and need prayers for safe travel.

4. PRAISE! Corban Rushing's surgery to have tubes placed in his ears also went well this week!

5. The Davis family will be traveling this coming weekend.

6. The Childers family will be traveling this coming weekend.

7. Pray for all of our friends who have lost their jobs and are looking for new ones.

8. Pray for our church and our lifegroup as our church continues its search for a new full-time pastor.

February 15th Announcements

Announcements

• Choir practice is every Wednesday evening at 6:30 and Sunday mornings at 8:30. Everyone is welcome to join!
• Girl's Night Out (GNO) is next Wednesday, the 25th, at Amanda Warner's house for some fun and games! If you didn't receive an email please email Sabrina at sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net
• If you would like to send a card to those going on the mission trip to Tiawan, please get the envelope in class Sunday

Prayer Requests

• Keep Corban Rushing in your prayers as he has tubes put in his ears this week.
• Also, Emma Williams will be getting tubes at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
• Dave Warner is still looking for a job.
• The Boomers will be traveling to Michigan to see Derek's grandfather who is ill and doesn't have much longer to live.
• Nicole Brian will be having surgery this Thursday, the 19th.
• Kim Davis will be traveling with Madison to Ft. Worth
• Kim Davis's brother will be having surgery a week from Tuesday for his hearing loss.
• Bonnie Brown and Robert Coon will be moving back to Pennsylvania this Friday.
• Jeremy and Laurie Williams need prayer for more sleep.
• Dustin Childer's dad lost his job and needs prayer.

There are lots of prayers this week! Please be open to continually praying for each one throughout your week!

February 8th Announcements

Hey everyone! We missed everybody that wasn't at church Sunday and hope to see you next Sunday. Paul did a great job teaching on priorities and developing all three areas of our lives (mind, body and spirit).

• Dave Warner is still looking for a job.
• Our church/class.
• Derek Boomer's grandfather more than likely had a stroke and is in the hospital.
• Nicole Brian goes for her pre-op appt. for her surgery on the 19th. Pray her surgery goes smoothly.
• Pray that Reid Brian can adapt to the formula he has been put on and won't have to make another trip to the hospital.

• Feb 15th @4 p.m. - LEADERSHIP MTG! All class leaders (coordinators, teachers, shepherd group leaders, phone callers, social coordinators) are expected to attend. Childcare is provided, but you must sign up. Call the church at 281-446-8168 to sign up your kids. This is also open to anyone interested.
• February 10th - Ladies Lunch at Chipotle in Humble at 11:30 a.m.

Superbowl Party!

Last Sunday, the Stark's hosted the annual Superbowl party. We had a few door prizes, but the grand prizes (a one year subscription to a magazine of their choice) went to Dustin and Tessa for being the guy and gal to predict the final score of the game. Somehow every year Dustin or Jenna goes away with the grand prize. Hmmmm...

February 1st Announcements

Class was great yesterday and so nice to see so many friendly faces. This week we challenged ourselves to constantly ABIDE/REMAIN in Christ throughout our entire day and not just during our quiet time. The lesson was on Luke 2:1-20.

Last night's Annual Super Bowl Party, hosted by the Starks, was a blast! Thanks to all who came to hang out with friends, eat yummy food and watch a good game!

Here are the announcements and prayer requests as mentioned in class yesterday. Be sure to read it all...there are several things offered this week to take part in with your friends from lifegroup.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. Feb 3rd @ 7 p.m. - TOMORROW NIGHT, Discovery Bible Study Series meets in the student bldg and tonight's speaker is HAFBC's own - Stuart Henslee! Stuart is our lead youth minister and has a true passion for God's word. He'll get you fired up tonight!

2. Feb 3rd @ 11:30 a.m. - Ladies' Lunch at La Madeleine's in Kingwood. RSVP to sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net.

3. Feb 9th @ 9:30 a.m. - Preschool Playgroup Valentine Exchange at Jenna & Saige's house. Remember to RSVP to Jenna at jnhc99@yahoo.com. Don't forget to bring valentine cards from your little lovebug to all the other kiddos.

4. Feb 11th @ 9:30 a.m. - MOM2MOM meeting in the worship center. You must sign up for childcare by Feb 6th! Send email to mom2mom_hafbc@yahoo.com and sign up yourself and your kiddos. If you missed the last meeting in the fall, then you really missed a fun and special time with a LOT of other mom's in our church. 4. Pray for Dave Warner as he continues his search for a new job.
