July 24th Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Women's Ministry will kick-off the fall studies on August 23rd and you can register in the lobby.
• Fall Precepts Morning Bible Study begins August 30th and you can register in the lobby.
• Women's Fall Retreat is Oct 21-22, 2011 and more details are available online.
• Men's Breakfast will be August 20th at 8 a.m. @ Humble City Cafe

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Praise!  Alex, Kristen and big sister Samantha are excited to announce the birth of Kyle Jones! 
• Praise!  Aaron Spratlen's cousin, Reagan, accepted Christ recently.
• Please pray for Jenna Childers' sister, BIL and two nieces as they prepare to move back to the states on August 1st.  They have a lot to get done in the next week to prepare for their six month furlough.

July 17th Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Real Life Discipleship Bible Study will be hosted by Matt & Jaclyn this week at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday night.  I'll send out an email w/ their home address.

• The Women's Ministry will start-up Tuesday morning bible studies on August 23rd.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Please pray for Alex & Kristen J.  She is expected to deliver their second child this week.  
• Please pray for Dustin and Jenna's niece and nephew as they come home to the states for the first time in three years!  They arrive on Wednesday afternoon.
• Please pray for Kristen's brother, Matthew.  he is having some health issues.  He has been moved to the new facility and is looking for a job.
• Praise!  Drew's eye feels better and they believe the piece of metal is now out.  Please pray for his next appt.
• Please pray for God's guidance regarding Drew's work.

July 10th Announcements

• Primetime With Pastor Barry, this Wednesday @ 6:30 p.m. in the student building.  This Wednesday the India and Peru mission teams will be sharing.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• PRAISE!  The surgery for baby Brielle went well.  Please keep praying for Josh, Christine and Brielle.
• Sabrina asked prayer for her sister as she is traveling abroad.
• Please pray for Kristen J. as she is due to deliver she and Alex's son in the coming weeks.
• Please pray for Drew.  He has a piece of metal stuck in his eye and it is causing pain/discomfort
• Please pray for Drew and Yajaira as they asked prayer for his work.
• Michael and Stacy asked prayer as they travel.
• Stacy C asked prayer for her grandmother who has been diagnosed with blood cancer and there is nothing more they can do than manage her comfort.

Happy 4th Of July!

Today has been a day packed with fun as we all got together to celebrate the 4th of July here in Kingwood.  The annual parade was a lot of fun.  Here are some pics from the parade...

June 26th Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.  There will be NO lifegroups this Sunday due to the July 4th holiday weekend.  Services will be held at HAFBC at 9:30 and 10:50 a.m.

2.  Aid Sudan has requested all of our mailing addresses for a special invitation.  Can you please email yours to Jenna at jnhc99@yahoo.com?

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1.  Paul S. asked for prayer for his health as he as started to not feel well.

2.  Dustin started his new job this week which is a praise that needs prayer.

3.  Praise - Dustin & Jenna's best friends, Sarah and Tommy Ferguson, welcomed a healthy baby boy last Friday and are getting adjusted to life as new parents.

4.  Praise - Greenfield's close on their new house on Thursday and they requested prayer as they need to sell their old house.

5.  Josh Foster injured his back and has been slowly recovering.

6.  Praise - Kristen's brother (Matthew) has been granted his sentence modification. He will spend the rest of this sentence in a work re-entry facility. Huge answer to prayers! He does need prayer though to keep "in-line".

7.  Chris and Kristen Willis requested prayer for their upcoming trip to Europe. Kristen's recovery is going well but needs continued recovery for their trip.

8.  Drew requested prayer for his friend's marriage.

9.  Elise requested prayer for her cousin who is staying with them all summer. She may not know the Lord and Elise asks for prayer that God would speak to her through the Spratlen's.

10.  Yajaira requested prayer as she goes to see a specialist for her eyes this week, especially as there is a potential for surgery.

June 19th Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• HAFBC Mini Marriage Retreat is this Friday, June 24th, 7-10pm.  Childcare by reservation only.
• GNO! is June 27th at 7pm at Panera Bread in Atascocita.  Tessa will be giving her couponing tips!

PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Praise!  Michael Coughlin received new hours with his job.  He will be working M-F now.
• Tessa and Joey will be traveling to Alabama this week.
• Pray for the Greenfields and the process of selling their house and moving into their new one.
• Praise!  33 kids were saved last week in VBS.
• Pray for everyone traveling.
• Pray for everyone affected by the extreme heat and wildfires.

June 12th Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.  MEN's BREAKFAST is this Saturday, 8/18 @ 8 a.m. at Humble City Cafe.  Be sure and RSVP to Dustin at dustincchilders@yahoo.com (new email address since he is changing jobs).

2.  GNO!  Is June 27th @ 7 p.m. at Panera Bread in Atascocita.  We'll be eating plenty of delicious food and learning coupon tips from the Coupon Queen herself, Tessa!  RSVP to sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net

3.  Real Life Discipleship Study continues this Wednesday evening at The Coughlin's house.  Stacy will send out the details this week.  Remember to have weeks 3 & 4 completed before you arrive.

4.  VBS is going strong at HAFBC this week.  Don't forget to take your snacks if you signed up to provide any for the teachers/volunteers.

PRAYER REQUESTS:

1.  PRAISE!  Kristen W's surgery went very well and Chris considers the post-op report a complete miracle.  Praise God!

2.  Jenna requests prayer for 15 yr old Luke P.  He had kidney surgery last week and is now home.

3.  Elise got her teaching position back!  Praise God!

4.  Praise!  Kristen J's. brother has been granted his hearing and that is one step closer to the ultimate goal.  Please keep praying for God's will.

5.  Yajaira requests prayer for her brother Ed.  He is a contract worker in Iraq and based on communication back to his family he is doing really well.
