May 31st Announcements & Prayer Requests

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. JUNE 10TH @ 7 P.M. - GUYS NIGHT- Expect an email from Derek soon with all the details.

2. '09 Mexico Mission Trip, July 12 - 17: For the past 5 years we have partnered with FBC, Nuevo Guerrero, Mexico in mission projects. As a Mexican border town they have blessed us and we have blessed them, all in the name of Jesus. After careful consideration of the recent violence along certain areas of the Mexican border and talking with Pastor Pedro Tobias we believe serving Nuevo Guerrero is still viable and needed. Our on-going mission partnership has allowed many in our church the affordable opportunity to experience God at work in life-changing ways. This year the trip will be limited to students or adults 18 and older, unless children are accompanied by a parent. The cost of the trip is $150 per person for those staying at Falcon Heights church or $250 per person staying at Falcon Heights Hotel. The deadline for registration is June 7th. Please contact Shirley Sims in the mission office at 281-446-8168 orssims@hafbc.com.

3. Womens Bible Study, June 23-July 8, 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. EnJOY is a DVD-based women's study offering an enduring biblical perspective on the meaning and source of true joy. Participants will learn that the reality of everyday life can erode the feeling of happiness-unless a foundation of joy is already in place. And such a foundation comes from seeing life through God's perspective. Cost: $11 for workbook

4. No LifeGroups on Sunday, July 5, due to the Fourth of July holiday.

5. Christos books are available in the library for $5.
