ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. TONIGHT! 1/24 at 7 p.m. GNO! Get together with your girlfriends and share your lovey-dovey dating, engagement and wedding stories. If you want, bring along pictures and wedding albums. We'll be spending some of the night writing love letters to our husbands, so bring along any stationery or scrapbooking supplies. 2. This Wednesday 1/26 @ 6:45 p.m. Pastor Barry and his wife Gay will be speaking on Doubt in room 2208 (this takes the place of Starbucks this week).
3. This Saturday 1/29 @ 7:30 a.m. MEN's BREAKFAST the men will be bringing back men's breakfast and getting together for coffee and breakfast at Humble City Cafe. RSVP to Dustin at dchilders@newtecheng.com.
4. 2/2 @ 6:30 p.m. is the next Men's Momentum Ministry Meeting in the student bldg. Join all the men for fellowship and bible study.
5. 2/4 @5:45 p.m. the men of HAFBC will be meeting to carpool to the special event, Born To Be Wild Conference, Featuring Tim Tebow. There are only a select number of tickets available. Call Shirley Sims at 281-446-8168 if you would like to purchase, $35.
6. 2/5 @ 8:30 a.m. HUMBLE2HUMBLE Mission Day. Our life group will be volunteering at HAAM in downtown Humble. We'll be sorting canned goods for their food pantry. Meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast and to drop off the kiddos at childcare.
7. 2/11 @ 7 p.m. is our LIFE GROUP SOCIAL! Mark it on your calendar and plan to come and hang out with all of us. Details will be announced soon. (Childcare is provided at HAFBC for free.)

1. Please pray for Matt's friend, Ryan, and his entire family. His mother passed away recently.
2. Please pray for Shanel, Sabrina's sister, as she travels for work and also prepares to run the Houston half marathon.
3. Please pray for Dustin's brother, Brandon, who is a contract worker in Afghanistan. For his safety, salvation and his relationship with his girlfriend. Also pray for the health of his girlfriend, Carla and the care of their son, Brayden.

January 16th Announcements
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Adult LifeGroup Leaders Meeting, Sunday, January 23rd @ 4 in the worship center. Mark your calendar! This meeting is for all of our leaders, potential leaders and any members who would like to join our table. 2. Men's Momentum is Wednesday, February 2nd @ 6:30 in the Student Building. Personal testimony will be Gery Prochaska and Mitch Beckman will be teaching/preaching. Men, join us for a great time of fellowship and Bible study. 3. Special Men's Event with Tim Tebow, Friday, February 4. Many of you have expressed a desire to attend the KSBJ Born To Be Wild conference featuring Tim Tebow on February 4th. This event is sponsored by Champion Forest Baptist Church, but we are planning a caravan/car pool for our men to attend. We are purchasing a small block of tickets to the event, if you would like to be part of the group, you can purchase the tickets at the church ($35 first, come-first serve). Call Shirley at 281-446-8168. You can also purchase your own tickets directly from the KSBJ website. Our caravan/car pool will meet at the Youth Bldg here at the church at 5:45 p.m. and depart promptly at 6:00 p.m. 4. Humble to Humble, Saturday, February 5. Please be making plans now for your next H2H mission adventure. We will meet at the church at 8:30 a.m., have breakfast and then go to your mission project. Childcare is provided. 5. Help Needed: Our Production Director, Josh Allgood is looking for volunteers. He is specifically looking for techies, computer gurus, engineers, mechanics, graphic artists, web designers, musicians interested in how things work. January 9th Prayer Requests

1. Dustin & Jenna requested that you pray for Davin as he recovers.
2. Dustin & Jenna also request you pray for their safe travel this weekend.
3. Sabrina's sister is traveling in Dubai please pray for safety /travel.
4. Paul asked prayer for his co-worker, Bob, who had a benign tumor that required radiation. Went into a coma after 3rd round of treatment. In IR, now recovering.
5. Drew requested prayer for his brother, Philip, who is joining the Navy, and leaving for boot camp the 18th of January.
6. Drew requested continued prayer for work b/c the load is extra heavy with the loss of an employee.
7. Matt Greenfield requested prayer for his friend Ryan's mother who had an brain aneurism. Her brain is showing no activity.
8. PRAISE! Nicole Agnew's brother became engaged.
January 9th Announcements
1. Stories with Starbucks, Wednesday @ 6:45 in room 2208. Next Wednesday, Rick & Cathy Whitaker will leading discussion focused on "Gaining From Our Losses." It's important we don't waste the pain when we are hurting.
2. She Celebrates, Tuesday, January 18th, 6-8 p.m. in the Student Center. Ladies this is always a great night of worship and our special speaker for the night is Gay Jeffries, wife of Pastor Barry. Light snacks begin at 6.

January FRESH START Announcements
HAFBC ANNOUNCEMENTS 1.Fresh Start Sunday" is this Sunday! This is our annual Sunday to encourage every member, regular attender, visitor and potential guests to be invited to your class. It will feel like old homecoming week since your class hasn't met for 2 weeks. On Fresh Start Sunday bring your best snacks, lesson and smile.
