Here are the announcements and prayer requests as mentioned in class:1. Girlfriends By Grace, our lifegroup's biblestudy for women, will meet for their final week this Wednesday at Jenna's house at 6:30 p.m. We will discuss the final chapter in
Calm My Anxious Heart by Linda Dillow. Please RSVP to Jenna at

2. Women! She Celebrates is schedule for this Sunday night, Feb. 28. Karen May will be the guest speaker and Andrea Webber-Smith will be leading worship. It begins at 5:30 with a lite meal with the service beginning at 6 p.m. in the Student Building. Sign-up for childcare through your LifeGroup.
3. Men! Our next men's meeting is scheduled for this Wednesday, March 3, 6:30 to 7:30 in the worship center. We will be kicking off our small groups after or large group time with Stuart Henslee. If you haven't had the opportunity to sign-up to participate in the small group study called "Chase the Goose" please contact the
education office. Various times and days will be offered for your convenience. If you are not planning on participating in the small group time you are still encouraged to attend the monthly large group meetings.
3. Parenting Weekend Seminar! We are excited to extend an invitation to you and your children for a weekend we have set aside to focus on parenting. The Foundation and Skills for Healthy Parenting Weekend will be March 5th and 6th hosted by HAFBC. This unique weekend will include parenting skills applicable to families with children of all ages...babies through teenagers!
4. Apologetics Seminar is scheduled for Wednesday, April 7, in the worship center at 6:30 p.m. CrossExamined.org is a non-profit ministry that conducts dynamic "I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be An Atheist" seminars on college campuses, churches, and high schools. Founder, Frank Turek, will address the problem that 3-out-of-4 Christian youth leave the church while in college, many because they are intellectually skeptical. Frank will be with us Wednesday, April 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the worship center. We strongly encourage students, parents, adults and all LifeGroup teachers to be present. You will greatly benefit from this rare opportunity.
5. Our lifegroup social for the month of March has been moved by HAFBC to the end of the month. Please be on the lookout for an evite in the next couple of weeks and plan to attend. It will be on a Friday evening and free childcare will be provided at HAFBC if you need it.
PRAYER REQUESTS:1. Please continue to pray for Derek, Crystal and their new baby boy, Brody. He was cleared by his doctors and came home this past Saturday night.
2. Please pray for Kingwood wife and mother, Katy Hayes. She is very involved w/in the community. She contracted Strand -A Strepp (GAS) after delivering her most recent baby and days later was admitted to the hospital in intense pain. She was diagnosed w/ GAS which caused her to experience multiple organ failure and she is unconcious. She is married and the mother of three young children. She if fighting for her life everyday. There are multiple fundraisers in Kingwood to raise money for her family to pay their bills during this time. She and her husband are both self-employed.
3. Pray for our pastor search committee as they are talking with a candidate to be the senior pastor of our church.
