October 25th Announcements

Happy Fall! What a wonderful time of year to share with good friends! Last night's Sunday Night Supper was a lot of fun for everyone there. Thanks for the good food and laughs.

Here are the announcements for this week and the prayer requests as mentioned in class on Sunday. If you have anything to add, please leave a comment and let us know.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. GNO! 10/26 at 7 p.m. Join all your girlfriends for our annual fall pumpkin carving extravaganza! Be sure to bring a snack to share and wear a costume if dare! Questions? Ask Sabrina at Sabrina.m.stark@sbcglobal.net.

2. Playgroup is this Friday, Oct 30th at 10 a.m. Bring your little “boo” for some fall fun at Kim & Madison’s house. It’s our annual pumpkin decorating and costume party, so remember to dress festive!

3. GUYS NIGHT is November 12th at 7 p.m. All the men come hangout play some poker and watch some football. RSVP to Derek at Derek.boomer@hatchmott.com

4. The church wants to prepare 175 bags of Thanksgiving food to give our clients the first 3 Tuesdays of November. The church asks us to bring some of the following and leave at either entrance of the HAFBC building
Boxed/Bagged Stuffing
Broth
Gravy Mix
Cranberry Sauce
Instant Potatoes
Canned Sweet Potatoes
Canned Fruits/Vegetables
Dessert Items

5. Booth and Activity Sign-up for Fall Festival. Saturday October 31, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. We only need ONE MORE COUPLE to work ONE HOUR. Your HELP is NEEDED to make our booth a success.

6. Girlfriends by Grace Prayer Meeting is this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in room 2209

7. Harvest Workers – We are going to be having a meeting for the members of our class to discuss class leadership opportunities and we would like to have everyone attend. There is ALWAYS something for you to do to help our class succeed in reaping the harvest. “Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." 1. Sabrina's grandfather is having heart surgery.

2. Derek is traveling for work.

3. Paul's siblings as they recover from the swine flu.

4. Drew's dad needs prayer for his job with NASA.

October 18 Announcements

7. Playgroup will be starting up again this fall! Woohoo! Bring your kiddos and come learn and play together every other Friday beginning on October 30th!

8. Class Social will the next Sunday, October 25th. We'll be meeting at the Greenfield's home again to eat and hang out! Be expecting an evite from Tessa or RSVP to tessagreenfield@yahoo.com.

PRAYER REQUESTS
1. Pray for those who are traveling this weekend to have a safe trip home.

2. Pray for Matt's allergies.

3. Continue to pray for Paul's sister, Karen, and little brother, Drew, who have the swine flu.

1. GUYS NIGHT is this THURSDAY, Oct 15th @ 7 p.m. Meet at the AMF bowling alley in Humble. The cost is usually around $15 per person. RSVP to derek.boomer@hatchmott.com

PRAYER REQUESTS
1. Please pray for Jenna's stepdad, Billy, and his job.
2. Please pray for everyone's health, especially in refernce to the current flu craze.
3. Please pray for Jenna's sister Julie who delivered a baby girl, Phoebe, in Budapest, Hungary on Tuesday. Phoebe and Julie are both doing well, but have to remain in Hungary until Phoebe's visa is cleared by the gov't and then they can return to the Czech Republic.
4. Please pray for strength and firm foundations for all of the marriages in our class and for all of the couples in our class that are trying to start families.
5. Please pray for Sabrina's grandfather and the possiblity of him having bypass surgery.
6. Please pray for Eric's knee surgery this week.
7. Please pray for Dave and the possibility of switching jobs.
8. Please pray for Matt's grandmother who is in the hospital.
9. Please pray for Laura's aunt and her rehabilitation.

October 4th Announcements

Paul's lesson on the end times went great and there was lots of really good discussion between everyone. It was good to see everyone in class this week. Thank you Paul for your hard work and teaching class every week!

  • Pray for overall good health. With the swine flu and other things floating around right now a lot of people are getting sick or afraid of getting sick.
  • Pray for general clarity for those in our class.
  • Pray for Drew and his job. That the Lord will give him favor with those he works with.
