July 15th Announcements

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.  Men's Breakfast is this coming Saturday at 8 a.m. @ Humble City Cafe.  RSVP to dchilders@selectenergyservices.com

2.  Only one more week left of our Love & Respect video & Study series.  We hope you'll join us for the final video and discussion time.

3.  Pastor Barry began a new series on marriage on Sunday mornings and we hope that you are able to attend church or listen to the podcast online.

4.  Dustin has spent time in prayer and has decided that it is time to step down as coordinator of the lifegroup and has been praying for the Lord to work on another man's heart to coordinate the class as we begin a new lifegroup year in August.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1.  Please pray for the leader the Lord has intended to serve as our new lifegroup coordinator.

2.  Matt requests prayer for his Aunt Glenace.  She is an very caring woman who runs a home for young girls who are pregnant and provides a haven for roughly eight girls at one time.  Then helps the girls through the adoption process for their babies.  Glenace has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that spread to her lungs and liver.  She is in her late 50s.

3.  The Childers family is preparing for a move and asks everyone to pray for them as they pack and move.

4.  The Smiths request prayer for their family as Drew travels for work and they are apart.

June 24th Update

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.  Pastor Barry will be teaching a new series on marriage soon.  More details will be added as we receive them.

PRAYER REQUESTS

1.  The Childers give praise for the sale of their current home.  The option period will end this Thursday.  They made an offer on another house and are in the midst of pwk.

2.  The Smith's pray for favor in adjusting to Drew's new work/travel schedule for their entire family.

3.  Nicole gives praise because her cousins were able to get citizenship for their son.

4.  Paul asks for favor and direction as he witnesses to a person of Zoroastrian faith at work.

June 17 Announcements

Prayer Requests

• Praise! Stacy got a new job at the YMCA.
• Praise!  The Coughlins are expecting Baby #3 due in late December.
• Drew has been traveling a lot for work lately.
• Pray for everyone who is traveling.
• Melissa's fiancee, Drew, begins airborne school soon.
• Praise!  Dustin and Jenna sold their house and are making an offer on another.  Please pray for the negotiations, inspections and option period.

June 10th Announcements

Announcements:

• The church's women's Biblestudy begins June 19th.  They will be studying the book of Nehemiah.
• VBS is this week!

 

Prayer Requests:

• VBS and VBX is this week!  Please prayer for the workers, teachers, and the kiddos.
• Pray for all those who are traveling.
• Melissa is a personal trainer and has to travel far to meet with her clients.  Please pray for her as she trys to find clients in this area.
• Please pray for Nicole's friend, Laura.  She is pregnant and has been told that her baby will not survive once he/she is born.  Laura and her husband have chosen to carry the baby until term.  Please pray for a miracle if that is God's will and for comfort and strength for the family.
• Praise!  The Burk's vacation went well!  Ginger's surgery went well!  Andrew's surgery went well!
• Praise and prayer request -Jenna's nanny passed on a few days ago and is now celebrating in Heaven.

1. Pray for Ginger and recovery form her wrist surgery. Pray for
Andrew who is having his adenoids taken out. Pray for the Burks as
they travel to Colorado.

2. Pray for Trent's sisters friend, who is in between cancer treatments.



3.  Dustin & Jenna have an unspoken request.

May 13th Announcements

This week at HAFBC and in our lifegroup:

• Tim Hawkins Concert @ HAFBC tonight, FRIDAY, May 18th @ 7 p.m.  Tickets are available online and at the door.  
• Men's Breakfast is tomorrow at 8 a.m. @ Humble City Cafe.  Come hang out with Joey!
• VBS is June 11-15 and they team is still in need of folks to serve.  Please email Cathy Lane at clane@hafbc.com if you can help serve the kids at VBS.

• Men's Game Night- Tonight at the Jones' house.
• The study for class teachers begins this Wednesday, May 9th.
• Tim Hawkins Concert on May 18th.

Prayer Requests

• Chris and Kristen Willis will be leading the senior boys and girls in the church youth!
• Rich and Kari Whittington will be leading the junior boys and girls.  We will miss both couples in class but we are so excited for them!  Please pray for them over the next year as they lead these students!
• Paul Stark's Uncle Dave had his second surgery in 6 months.  Please pray for a smooth recovery.
• Please pray for the Bender Family (Paul's extended family).  Their daughter recently became engaged and it has caused a lot of tension in her family.
• Drew Smith's friend, Sam, passed away unexpectedly last week.  Please pray for comfort for Sam's family and friends as they grieve.
• Praise!  Sam Burk as been traveling and returns this week!
• Pray for safe travels for Alex Jones this week.
• Pray the Childers kiddos feel better soon!
